Theresa E. Connor at 70!

The big news at our Museum is that our schooner Theresa E. Connor, flagship of our fleet, is 70 years old!

New activities and a new exhibit will showcase our celebrations throughout the summer. You don’t have to like fish to love being aboard Canada’s Oldest Saltbank Schooner!

Retired fishermen share stories of real-life action on the high seas. You can go below deck, imagining that you slept in the narrow bunks and ate at the galley table. Lend a hand and fix up the trawl or talk about “storm soup”! A visit aboard the Theresa E. Connor is truly an adventure for all ages.

Please contact us for additional information or if we can help when you make your plans to visit us, on the magnificent waterfront in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia ~ A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Every day is a special day at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. The daily activities and features, like the stunning aquarium, as well as Canada’s Oldest Saltbank Schooner - Theresa E. Connor, make the Museum a real adventure!
